July 2024Vianny was very helpful and responsive, we had a great experience with everyone at the resort. Kelvin, our concierge, was fantastic! Our hot water wasn’t working the day of check in and he had someone out to get it fixed within just a few minutes. Everyone was so quick to respond and help us with our every need. I also highly recommend using Bolivar with Minway Services for your transportation, he was very helpful as well. Our only issue with the villa was the smell in the 3rd bedroom. It had a strong mildew smell that we couldn’t seem to get rid of.

July 2024The pictures don’t do this place nor the resort any justice! We enjoyed ourselves, staff friendly and the concierge David was phenomenal!! There’s plenty to do on the resort and not super full like other resorts because you have your own private Villa.

April 2024my group had a good stay overall. the resort workers were helpful, convenient, nice and even offered delivery services. the downside is that some of the workers will come into your villa when you are not there and move your items around. they had moved my friend’s sneakers into a hiding spot that it was not originally in. It had looked as if they didn’t want my friends to find their shoes. They told us the cleaners did not have permission into the villa unless one of us was there. I had my shirt stolen which soured the rest of the trip for me personally and made me feel unsafe. Ours neighbors said this happened to them as well. otherwise the villa looks as shown. watch out for the sink water it can turn black. I wouldn’t bring anything valuable because there is a good chance it will be hidden or stolen and there’s a sign as soon as you come in that says “they’re not responsible for loss items” so this is clearly a recurring issue that won’t be solved.

January 2024Our family (including small children) had a great time at this resort! If you’re looking for a convenient, yet peaceful place to stay, this is for you! Footsteps from the beautiful beach, private pool, great food/atmosphere and service was all incredible! We ended up renting a golf cart to get around but they do offer complimentary rides to and from one location to the next. House keeping came almost daily and did a great job! The monkey club pool was fun and upbeat for us and the kids. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! The back amazing with soft sand and plenty of room to sit! No rich to have to go out a towel out to reserve a seat! This is a resort without the chaos of a resort! The staff at every restaurant and bar was amazing!

January 2024Me and my friends enjoyed our stay at Villa Rubi. The location is about 45 minutes from the airport so definitely rent a car. The beach is a 5 min walk and the private property that the villa is on has a restaurant,grocery store and a few other things. The villa we stayed in was clean and spacious for us. Although the showers can use a bit of maintenance,everything there was up to par. And might I add that the pool was always on point. The hospitality was amazing and we very much appreciate everything that Vianny did for us.

August 2023If you are looking for a peaceful get away, then Vianny's home is the place to be. It is located within a developing resort, but still provided some keys amenities, transportation around the resort, easy beach access, decent restaurants. Not much glitz and glamour, but nice and relaxing.

April 2023I stayed here for my birthday and EVERYONE was very helpful, kind, and always willing to accommodate any request. The Managers, Office Personnel, Cleaning Crew, Security Guards, even the Cart Drivers took very good care of us and made sure we were safe and looked out for. I will be coming back here again.

March 2023All in all, this was a great stay and the value was great. Only a minor issue that occurred on 3/17 after I returned from a Golf outing there was a bathroom sink leak in the master bedroom but it was quickly resolved. Vianny requested maintenance service and they were there within no time to fix issue. Location was excellent, reception desk was very helpful, great stay and will return. I highly recommend this stay!

March 2023We had a great stay at Villa Rubi. Everything was very enjoyable and the food was great in the villa area. We had no issues at all with anything on offer. The only negative was the distance from the main resort areas near Bavaro, but the taxis are very cheap and easy to call from reception.
