Villa Marfil at The Playa Palmera beach resort was great for what my family needed. We went end of February and the resort was very quiet. It was a 2 minute walk to a perfect beach. Vianny connected us with all the contacts for what we needed & everyone was very responsive. Minway Travel arranged our airport transport & were excellent. Our concierge was Micker who arranged literally anything we asked for. He was on every task immediately & was very friendly & kind to us & our kids. Most everyone working on the resort was friendly & loved our two small kids. Service was okay, everyone just moved at a different pace than what we are used to in the states. Food was great, however selection at the market was very limited. Definitely ask your airport transport to stop at a big store. Overall the Villa was good. The pool was perfect, but WiFi was in and out & water pressure was poor & only two burners worked on the stove. Not high class luxury but good for us at the price. Great stay

Overall a nice stay. Close to the beach, comfortable beds, good A/C and wifi. Probably one of the best parts of the trip was our AMAZING concierge Aris. He told me to text him if we needed anything and was super responsive. He was so nice and sweet and helped us out a ton! The main reason for 4 stars and not 5 was because there was a lot of loud noise and music from the surrounding villas. Okay during the day, but it often went on until 2am. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Nicer villa with 2 min walk to the beach. It’s not the most pristine property I’ve been to but does have good space, accessible cold water and a Bluetooth speaker outside for the music. The restaurant by the beach cocomar is straight out of the vacation handbook. Great food great views and vibes. The chicken risotto is amazing. Stayed there for hours at the beach bar. Concierge Davidson was very attentive.

Vianny villa is in the beautiful playa palmera beach resort. It was beyond beautiful with the most amazing staff. My concierge was Davidson and he is an exemplary employee! soooo kind, so attentive to our every waking needs, so helpful, so funny he is amazing deserves all praises. The beach was literally walking distance from the villa took me less than 2mins to get there and the staff was amazing especially Mayelin who took care of me and my friends so well. The resort has gold cart transfers for those whose villa isn't close to the beach or restaurants and I wanted to personally praise Francisco. That gentleman went above and beyond for me and my friends and every guests at the property. very fast transfers, always offering tips for fun activities to do, beyond kind extremely helpful with anything an exemplary employee. The only downside is that the villa is in Uvero Alto so car service is expensive to and from other than that 0 complaints and will return and recommend this villa.

Great stay. Nice villa, private pool was fun especially with the built in Bluetooth speakers. The AC worked VERY well. The hot water worked very well. Our only problem was finding a switch to cut the pool lights on and off but other than that it was great. I would stay again. I loved the resort. 10/10

I stayed here with 3 other friends for my birthday trip and it was nothing short of amazing. The check in was very easy, the people working there are AMAZING. They were very welcoming and helpful from when you arrive to when you leave. There’s always someone around who works there to pick you up from the villa and drop you off to where you need to go on the resort in golf carts or you can rent one yourself. The concierge was very helpful in helping us book excursions and reservations for restaurants. We had a maid service come when we needed and there was even a market on the resort filled with snacks and groceries you’d need to cook. One excursion that I really loved that we booked through them was the Party Boat. It was adult only with free rum punch with food you could purchase. It was so fun with great music and great people. Vianny was also VERY helpful and responsive.Overall if you’re thinking about booking this Villa, don’t even hesitate to. We will for sure be coming back!

Vianny is an amazing host! Super responsive and friendly. The villa is located in a gated community and it’s like 1 block away from the beach! The beach was great, had a really nice beach restaurant, great cocktails for super cheap! The villa was super clean and it was perfect for the price. Great pool, comfy beds and just perfect. I really enjoyed staying there with my family. The only thing I’d say is that if you are looking to go out to shops and bars it’s quite far from Punta Cana and any big supermarket. I’d recommend doing groceries once you land in the Punta Cana airport. We had to take $90 round trip to a supermarket. Otherwise the place is perfect for those looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway!

What we enjoyed: the Villa had a nice layout with a private pool area. Each Bedroom had its own private bathroom. Walkable to all amenities but if you didn’t want to walk there was always a friendly golf cart driver around. Loved Castaways on the beach, super friendly staff. The beach chairs were always available along with shade coverage if desired. Florecitas restaurant was very nice. Great food. Grab a cafe con leche from the bakery. We liked being able to cook some meals The staff overall were Fantastic! Our Host was very responsive & helpful. When we arrived the Villa was missing items such as a Coffee Machine, Pillows in the bigger bedroom, enough dishes for 4-6 people, enough towels for 4-6 people, only 2 Lounge chairs, outdoor shower didn’t work, no paper towels/napkins, no water (they did get us water quickly). Bring smaller bills for LOTS of tipping. The zip line excursion with dune buggies and horse ride was nice. If you horse ride on the beach use a lot of bug spray!

first and foremost we enjoyed our stay at Villa Marfil at Playa Palmera resort, all the staff we encountered were amazing and helpful the food was good the Monkey club was really nice with good drinks but it was like a ghost town, But the bar and Restaurant Castaways saved the trip the food was really good with service on the beach Melvin and the other waiters/food staff were the best ,The Bartenders Rodrigo and Victor were cool AF and made great drinks we spent most our time on the beach and it was amazing ALL AND ALL STAYING HERE WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT, couple few minor issues on our stay but they did not out way the great things (no safe key, Cleaning staff never showed up at pre set time ) I will definitely recommend staying here FOUR STARS FROM ME ALL DAY ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vianny was a great host, she was able to offer great recommendations to help make our arrival process seamless. I was able to arrange excursions, transportation, and chef service all through Vianny's recommended team. This place was everything that we needed. It offered the privacy of the Villa, while still being located in a resort community so it offered access to restaurants, super market, and more and it was also a very quick walk to the beach. The staff at the “reception area” were hands down the best! Especially Mr Luis! He answered every question, handled every need and is seriously the nicest person. Mr Bolivar and Mr Cesar were also fantastic. I should have just moved in. We only left a day ago and I so want to go back. Thank you to everyone at Playa Palmera for an amazing stay!

My family and I stayed at Villa Marfil for a week. It was wonderful! Nice ordering transportation to and from the airport. Luis met us at check-in (even though we had been delayed!) and took us to the villa. He was very responsive all week with anything we needed. The rooms were well maintained. The AC was out in one room. It was replaced the next day! We hired a chef one day (so good). Would advise getting one earlier in your stay to enjoy the leftovers! There are drivers on golf carts to take you everywhere on the property. There is a reserved area on the beach for people staying at Playa Palmera (the resort the villa is part of), and we loved Castaways (beachside bar/restaurant)! We would definitely come back!

They should put the real pictures of the Villa Marfil, its is a beautiful condo in a more beautiful location. Rent it without hesitation for your trip in Punta Cana ( Utero Alto region). We were a group of 6 and we had the best time in this all furnished villa. The beds all king sizes were comfortable, great AC, the two rooms are a bit small but guess what you wont be staying in the room because the beach is close and beautiful. Chairs and umbrellas are provided at the beachfront which is steps from your villa! No fight for a chair like in an all inclusive. Service on the beach is top, towels are provided and EAT at CASTAWAYS. If there is one restaurant you need to try it is CASTAWAYS with Chef Lubin.There are golf cart that transport you to anywhere on the site for free, security guards are present and helpful.The whole site is clean.Its a great place and service at the reception: MarfilSophia, Theodore n the staff will make your stay enjoyable.

Very nice place. We booked the place for complete privacy. The 1st Villa has an area where neighbors could see the pool. But, Vianny and the reception team took care of it. That worked out well. There was construction all around, but it didn't bother us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The area was not as Americanized as other resorts and many staff did not speak English. That worked out just fine because enough people did. Biggest thing was they don't have the modernized plumbing system like bigger resorts, so you had to make sure you drank bottled water and paper cannot be thrown in the toilet. These were all small things and the main thing we wanted was privacy and a beach, which we got. Places to eat we're convenient and good. Staff was great. Vianny and Manuel made it easy.

Our Villa was located on the modern Playa Palmara Beach resort! The Villa is updated and is perfect for any family looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The Villa has perfect setup with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and pool. It’s a great location with easy access (2 min walk) to the beach. We were able to sip our coffee and head to the beach to relax. If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation check out this spot!

This was an amazing experience to have this villa, it was a 2 minute walk right to the beach! And any where else we needed to go on the compound a golf cart driver would be driving around ready to take us there! It was very easy to set up excursions! The only thing I would say that would have made the vacation better is knowing that the maids only came to the villa to clean while we were still there. We had contacted them a couple times to come in and clean while we were gone and would come back to the same villa we left so that was a little frustrating.. but overall this villa was amazing and we had so much fun

My sister, niece and I wanted a safe, clean, relaxed and pampering space near the beach. We found our little slice of paradise at Playa Palmera. Vianny is a very pleasant Super Host and always responded quickly to my inquiries. Mayra's outstanding hospitality staff at Playa Palmera went out of their way to cater to our every need. Our Executive Chef Julian prepared amazing meals, from his heart, every day. Miguel, our professional driver, took care of our transportation needs. Ysrael and Michael checked in on us from reception every day, anticipated very need and answered every question. Ava from housekeeping made sure our Villa was maintained in good order. We felt like family. We will definitely come back!

Great Villa and a very hospitable staff , very accommodating, professional and responsive. Great security, we always felt safe and welcomed. The private pool is nice and spacious and there is a nice terrace above that has a nice view and great if you want to lay out. The staff at Reception can assist with booking excursions and arranging transportation to and from your Villa. They have golf cart rentals and a rental SUV on site which is convenient. This a great alternative to an all inclusive resort giving you a lot more privacy. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

The location is spot on. The staff is super friendly and go out the way to make you happy. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! I usually stay at resorts but this condo beats all. The gym and it’s staff were super helpful and even if you don’t speak Spanish they go out their way to accommodate you. The condo was second to none. Being private, you have the opportunity to feel free as you should on a vacation. I recommend this to the highest and Vianny and staff were awesome. Great stay and look forward to being there again

The location was great but I would suggest finding a driver familiar with the area. Everything was super clean and the team at Playa Palmera did everything they could to roll out a red carpet. I can totally see why there is so much investment in the redevelopment of this community tucked between two large resorts. The chef came out and spoke to me at breakfast each day. Staff coordinated transportation, activities, etc. when we checked out, the individual shop keepers came out with small gifts for my family based on their frequent likes throughly the stay. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay - loved the pool and we each had a bathroom in our rooms - bit a strange layout as there is access to the master bedroom from the villa itself - you have to across 2 further rooms from outside by the pool, it is safe and secure but means you can’t lock sliding doors of lounge area if those outside wanted to across the kitchen - the beach is only minutes away and had some lovely walks - people are very friendly
