Our stay at the villa was great spot for 3 couples. The cleaning staff and Concierge assigned did a good job. Vianny was a pleasure to deal with and responsive to our needs. Access to the beach was close and always lounge chairs available. The location is remote and grocery options are limited and expensive so best to do a grocery stop on the way if you plan on preparing your own meals and snacks.

The villa we stayed at was very clean and maintained appropriately! The beach was literally a few steps away. Everyone was pleasant and helpful at anytime we reached out for services! I will definitely be back

Villa Azul was a good stay and the property itself was what we expected! The pool was awesome. Each couple had a private bath and bedroom. The water jug (with unlimited refills) was a huge plus. VERY short walk to the beach! Brown doors by pool are shared with adjacent villa. Playa Palmera (resort) was just fine except for food. If we did it over again, we would stop at a grocery store ahead of arriving at the resort to eat more meals at home, keeping in mind that the Airbnb has no oven. There are restaurants on-site as advertised, but we did find ourselves getting tired of the options quickly and wishing we could eat at home! The supermarket gets new food shipments in on Tuesday mornings - this is when they will be fully stocked with produce. We attempted to hire a chef for several days but were surprised upon our arrival with over $100 of extra fees per day that were not originally communicated. Again, grocery shopping off-site ahead of time would have helped this!

Esta propiedad supero mis expectativas la verdad es que las fotos no le hacen justicia, se ve mucho más hermosa en persona, la ubicación está bien, un poco retirada del centro por así decirlo, pero tiene en el mismo complejo Supermercado, restaurantes, pizzeria, heladería, la comunicacióncon la host y el personal de ayuda ESPECTACULAR en ningún momento nos abandonaron y estuvieron al pendiente en todo, Definitivamente es un lugar para volver. Gracias a Vianny, Mayra y Eva por todo.

AREA: This Villa is located at the closed area called Playa Palmera with lot of security guards inside. We used a rented car to get there and for shopping but possibly one can live there without the renting a car using a golf cart (probably extra payed). At the area there are three restaurants and a minimarket, where one can buy the breakfast supply. So there is no need to go to the further located shops. The restaurant Castaway at the beach is super - not very expensive and extremely delicious. We went there for every dinner and tried almost all positions of the menu. Nothing was disappointing - much much better than 5* al inclusive resort restaurants. Beach belonging to area is maybe not as nice as some near beaches where we went along the ocean coast. There are also a lot of stones (reef) in water which can easily harm your feet but again short walk and there are super sandy shallow water for swimming and playing with kids. There are some old ruined houses at the area which looks a bit strange and there is also a construction going on during weekdays but whenever one is used to it - one will appreciate the lack of people and much more private feeling of personnel and the area. just a small notice - it is hard to communicate in English with the crew but they do their best to understand the addressed questions. VILLA: The villa is extra clean - nice and beauty. It looks much more attractive in reality than on the pictures. Its absolutely 5 * villa with all amenities one needs. Kitchen is also well prepared for preparation of meals. Salon is comfortable and nicely decorated. All furniture are like a new one. Bedrooms are large enough and are air conditioned (included in price rate). Bathrooms are clean, very clean. We haven't spotted any cockroaches or other insects what is rare at Caribbean region. This is big plus if someone have problem with it. It is good work of the cleaning crew. The pool is small but refreshing and clean - it is enough to spend there few minutes to chill down after returning from the walk under the heavy sun. We liked the internal patio and it was nice to sit there sheltered from the wind breeze. PROBLEMS: 1) The neighbours can be very loud. During the weekend (sat - mon), just when we arrived the music was extremely loud in vicinity so we couldn't use the patio at all. It seems that some groups are coming to rent the houses for party. There is no night silence regulation so even when one close the doors in bedrooms the noise is still hearable (low frequency tones). We were very tired with activities in the evening so going asleep with earplugs was not a big problem for us. During the week there was much more peaceful atmosphere - occasionally some music but not at night. And than we enjoyed evenings at patio very much. 2) Internet quality was a problem - it broke every two minutes and then after two minutes of break appeared again, last two days of our stay there wasn't any available connection. As we didn't have any local phone card with internet we couldn't check the plane schedule or send any messages - even we couldn't complain :). 3) there was a problem with warm water but it was immediately resolved when we contacted the host. Big +. The water is not well drained from the showers but it is normal for the beach houses. SUMMARY: It is very nice and comfortable villa - we would return there with no hesitation. There are some small disadvantages but it is thousand time better way to spend holidays than staying at the resorts. We recommend this property for rental.
